InDesign can be easily learned without any prior knowledge of other software. For those who need to use it for technical layout, basic knowledge of Microsoft Word may be helpful. We begin with how to structure an InDesign document, depending on the publication being created (multi-page documents, continuous text flow, master page layout, etc.). We then move on to analyzing all the text formatting options, text styles, and linked image management. We then move on to tables, summaries, and PDF exports. Clearly, each course is tailored to the required scope, because structuring a spare parts price list is completely different from creating a textbook or a marketing brochure.
